In just over a month’s time, Daniel Craig’s fifth and final outing as is released. His first 007 movie since Spectre five years ago, looks set to be full of the usual impressive action sequences. But now the 51-year-old star has revealed what he is no longer allowed to do as Bond.

Speaking with Top Gear Magazine, Craig admitted he doesn’t get to do the stunt driving, as seen in the trailers with Bond’s damaged Aston Martin DB5.

The actor said: “You know we fake it, don’t you?

“We’re not allowed to do that anymore, although I do go driving.”

Nevertheless, there was one pretty cool move he was allowed to do instead of stunt driver Mark Higgins.

Craig enthused: “I was allowed to donut the DB5 in Matera, which was great.”

The scene appears in the No Time To Die trailers when the gadget-infused car spins on the spot and fires from its hidden machine-gun turrets.

No Time To Die will feature an array of Aston Martins alongside the DB5 from Goldfinger.

This includes the current DBS Superleggera and V8 1980s model from Timothy Dalton’s The Living Daylights.

Meanwhile, the brand new mid-engine Aston Martin Valhalla is expected to make an appearance before just 500 models enter production in late 2021.

With so many types of Aston Martin, the car cameos may feel somewhat of an over-saturation, but surely the most diehard fans will love the fan service.

Sadly, No Time To Die’s Chinese press tour has been cancelled due to coronavirus spreading across Asia.

According to The Sunday Times, the closure of the movie theatres in China could mean No Time To Die taking a big financial hit, as it may for Mulan too.

After all, China is now the world’s second-biggest region for the box office after the US.

Last year, Avengers Endgame became the highest-grossing movie all time with almost $3 billion made worldwide.

Part of such a monumental sum was £450 million from China alone.

The 50th anniversary Bond movie Skyfall is currently the only film in the franchise to have made more than $1 billion worldwide.

However, it seems unlikely No Time To Die will match this figure now with the Chinese box office being affected by coronavirus.

The premise of the new Bond movie reads: “Five years after the capture of Ernst Stavro Blofeld, James Bond has left active service. He is approached by Felix Leiter, his friend and a CIA officer, who enlists his help in the search for missing scientist Valdo Obruchev.

“When it becomes apparent that Obruchev was abducted, Bond must confront a danger the likes of which the world has never seen before.”

No Time To Die is released in UK cinemas on April 2, 2020.
