James Bond SHOCK: Tom Hiddleston suddenly ODDS-ON to replace Daniel Craig over Tom Hardy
Craig may have one more James Bond film to go, but all eyes are on who his replacement could be.
And now, rather suddenly, Hiddleston is odds-on to take up the Licence to Kill after him.
The 37-year-old has seen his odds of 8-1 slashed to 4-5, overtaking favourites Elba and Hardy.
A Ladbrokes spokesperson said: “It’s looking increasingly likely the name will be Hiddleston; Tom Hiddleston.”
He’s also set to return as Loki, in scenes set during the first Avengers movie judging by set photos, in Avengers 4 next year.
But other than that his acting slate is looking pretty clear, although he will have a few years to wait before he can audition for Bond.
After all, Bond 25 is not set for release until Valentine’s Day 2020, so it’s unlikely we’ll see a new Bond announced until at least 2022.
Meanwhile, other next 007 actor favourites have seen their odds slip.
Elba and Hardy are currently 5-1, while Aidan Turner and James Norton are 10-1.
Behind them are Henry Cavill and Orlando Bloom at 12-1.
Strangely the choice of any female remains 12-1, despite Bond producer Barbara Broccoli confirming that 007 will remain a man.
Bond 25 hits cinemas on February 14, 2020.
