James Bond: Who will replace Daniel Craig? Latest odds REVEALED – who is favourite?

Craig has at least one 007 more movie in him, due for release in February 2020.

He’s strongly indicted that it will be his final outing as the iconic spy – but who will step into James Bond’s shoes after that?

The latest odds are out – and it seems Bodyguard’s Richard Madden is still the one to beat.

Interestingly, his odds have continued to be cut long after the series concluded – he currently has 5/4 odds with Coral.

“Richard Madden looks a perfect fit to play the next James Bond therefore it is easy to see why punters are backing the star of Bodyguard to play 007 where he is now the new favourite in the betting,” said the firm’s spokesperson, John Hill.

Behind Madden is yo-yoing on-off favourite Tom Hiddleston, on 2/1.

Idris Elba is still in the running on 6/1, despite appearing to rule himself out over the summer.

Tom Hardy, former favourite, is also on 6/1, with James Norton on 12/1.

Joining Norton are Sam Heughan of Outlander and Aidan Turner of Poldark, both on 12/1; while punters can also back any female on 12/1.

Cillian Murphy is on 16/1; while Michael Fassbender, Jack Huston and Daniel Kaluuya are on 20/1.

Reports claimed earlier this month that Madden was on the verge of being offered the job, despite Craig’s final Bond outing being yet to start filming.

A source told the Mail on Sunday: “It’s seriously looking like he [Madden] is going to get the job.

“Not only is he on top of Barbara’s list, but she is preparing to offer the role.”

Richard’s father Richard Snr had recently said: “Whether it is James Bond or any other big role, Richard has got ideas about things he’d like to do.

“I’m quite sure he does want that to be on his CV one day but he’s not making a song and dance about it.”

Bond bosses have not commented on the speculation.
