Jumanji 2 trailer: How to watch new trailer for Dwayne Johnson movie
The reboot of Jumanji was originally met with concern but the first film proved critics wrong. The stellar cast of Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson, Kevin Hart, Jack Black and Karen Gillan lit up our screens perfectly. Soon, fans will get to see the next Jumanji movie – Jumanji: The Next Level.
How can I watch the final trailer for Jumanji: The Next Level?
The trailer for the latest Jumanji movie is abailable on YoutTube and via the Jumanji Twitter account.
In the trailer, things are a little different, as the group have been dropped off in the desert rather than their usual jungle surrounding – at least as far as the trailer reveals.
Jack Black’s Professor Shelly Oberon shouts: “We’re in the desert this time? Where’s the jungle?
“This is a whole new thing? Nobody told us we had to do a whole new thing!”
Ruby Roundhouse (Karen Gillan) reveals something has gone wrong, before we are shown the origins of their new story.
Elderly gent Eddie Gilpin (Danny DeVito) is seen going down the stair lift to meet his friend Milo (Danny Glover,) and are looking for Eddie’s grandson, Spencer (Alex Wolff.)
As Spencer’s mates arrive, they soon realise Spencer has done the unthinkable – he has fixed the broken parts of the Jumanji game and got back in.
The group decide to go back and save their mate, but the Jumanji powers are stronger than ever and they suck in Eddie and Milo as well.
All the avatars have switched, with Dwayne Johnson’s Dr Smolder Bravestone now inhabited by Eddie, while Kevin Hart’s Franklin Finbar is inhabited by Milo.
And, to switch things up further, Professor Oberon is now inhabited by Fridge (Ser’Darius Blain) while Martha (Morgan Turner) continues to have control of Ruby Roundhouse.
The group are in the jungle, before they are suddenly seen trying to get through life in the desert, which is tough considering they have extra weaknesses and strengths, some of which will certainly hinder and help them in the future.
Professor Oberon is particularly struggling with heat and sand, making the desert the worst place to be, while Finbar can now speak to animals.
Their guide, Nigel Billingsley (Rhys Darby) informs them: “This time, not all of you will leave the game alive.”
They search desperately to find Spencer and Bethany (Madison Iseman) until they eventually meet up with Jefferson “Seaplane” McDonough (Nick Jonas,) and realise he is now the new Spencer, while Bethany has bizarrely turned into Seaplane’s trusty steed.
Finbar correctly translates her concerns when she neighs, telling the group: “She says, ‘Oh my god, I’m like so a horse.’”
They realise the game is broken and various scenes of swinging from trees, breaking up medieval banquets and running around senseless show this movie is certainly another fun ride.
Perhaps the best moment of all, however, is seen when Professor Oberon is heard saying: “Yes I’m back, I missed you so much, oh my god, hi.”
While this may seem like nothing, it is clear Bethany has been reunited with her former avatar, which will bring a lot of joy to fans.
As well as this, Colin Hanks is set to return as Alex Vreeke, meaning a return for all the characters to their former avatars is definitely possible.
Jumanji: The Next Level is released in cinemas on December 11
