Jurassic World cast pictures: Chris Pratt and Bryce Dallas Howard in pictures

The 2015 Jurassic World movie featured Chris Pratt and Bryce Dallas Howard starring side by side for the first time.

When Jurassic World first premiered, the chemistry between the two characters was lauded.

On-screen, Dallas Howard and Pratt had a love-hate relationship that played like a romantic comedy, even amidst the dinosaurs rampage.

The pairing was a-typical for gender roles, with Bryce’s Claire Dearing being the cynical, disillusioned one.

Her attitudes towards love and intimacy were cynical at best.

That is until she met Chris Pratt’s Owen Grady, the charming ex-army vet and velociraptor trainer with a soft heart.

The element of romance in the infamous kiss scene, which Bryce Dallas Howard didn’t know was happening, fit perfectly in the moment of high tension and drama.

Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom’s trailer, however, ruptured the dreamy image of the on-screen romance, with Claire and Owen no longer a couple.

Despite the shift in their on-screen relationship, Pratt and Howard have maintained their off-screen friendship.

Their friendship is so solid it extends to their children.

Chris Pratt appeared on The Ellen Show and told a story that would melt even the coldest of hearts.

Pratt’s son said that if he could have pizza with any one of his friends, he would pick Beatrice, Bryce’s daughter.

“I had to text [Bryce] and tell her,” Pratt said.

Howard confirmed the statement, saying: “They really have an incredible friendship. It’s awesome… And they’ll be friends for their whole life.”

Given their chemistry in the movies, and their friendship in real life, it wouldn’t be surprising to see their characters reconnect on screen.

Audiences won’t have to wait much longer to find out the fate of Claire Dearing and Owen Grady.
