Kate Middleton in pictures: Duchess of Cambridge dons purple dress at mental health summit

Kate Middleton joined husband Prince William toady for a health summit at London’s County Hall on the South Bank.

The royal couple attended the first Global Ministerial Mental Health Summit, an initiative to help improve mental health awareness around the world.

William and Kate have long been involved in mental health initiatives through their work on the Heads Together campaign.

They are hoping to put mental health on an equal footing with physical health.

The event is the Duchess of Cambridge’s second royal engagement since returning to work following the end of her maternity leave.

The 36-year-old visited the Forest School and Wildlife Garden last week when she returned to royal duties.

Mother-of-three Kate, gave birth to Prince Louis, her third child with Prince William, 36, on April 23.

The royal couple are also parents to Prince George, 5, and Princess Charlotte, 3.

The Duchess of Cambridge looked typically elegant today for the summit.

She wore a beautiful purple dress for the outing.
