While the Duchess of Cambridge is known for wearing high street garments, however it appears this is not enough to keep clothing costs lower than the Duchess of Sussex.

“Both Princesses often opt for custom-made designer pieces for functions, which can increase a dress’s price by 40 per cent on average.
Aaron Harpin, founder of HushHush.com, said:
“The Royal Family lives in the public eye, and is under constant scrutiny from the public and press, so it’s no wonder members spend a pretty penny on beautiful designer clothes for appearances.
“Let’s also not forget that as Royals, they represent the elite in our historic society; I’m sure we’d all be baffled if we saw the Queen in a dress from Marks and Spencer!
“I’m sure many will be surprised to find out that the Duchess of Cambridge actually has a more expensive wardrobe than the Duchess of Sussex, but then again she has been a royal for longer!”
