Katie Perry heels to gunpowder gin – the hottest products of the week REVEALED
This week’s style and taste tips come from Laura Mulley
HIGH SPIRITS
Drumshanbo Gunpowder Irish gin, £32.35, Asda and thewhiskyexchange.com
The Shed Distillery in Ireland has produced this fine gin, which is distilled in a steam-fired copper pot before being hand-filled, sealed and labelled. Citrus fruits and oriental botanicals such as gunpowder tea and Drumshanbo meadowsweet are included in the process, giving it a smooth, subtle flavour. Enjoy it in its signature serve, with tonic and ice and finished with a wedge of red grapefruit.
UP TO THE MINUTE
Rebel watch, from £179, Calvin Klein (00800 7463 6499, calvinklein.co.uk)
The first of Calvin Klein’s watches to showcase the vision of the brand’s creative director Raf Simons, this style is simple, modern and elegant. The bold stripe down the middle is inspired by the striped trousers seen at Calvin Klein’s SS18 catwalk show in New York, and the rich colours sees the brand move away from metal and pastel shades previously used.
