Lady Gabriella Windsor leads the royal style at Ascot Ladies Day weeks after royal wedding
Lady Gabriella Windsor looked glamorous as she attended day three of Royal Ascot 2019, officially known as Ladies Day. The royal – who recently tied the knot with financer Thomas Kingston – looked stunning in a pink and white stripe, frilly gown. She teamed the floor length dress with a unique pair of pointy mules, which had a jewelled strap across them. Racegoers are required to wear hats on the day, and Lady Gabriella’s certainly stood out, with its net and feather detail. The 38-year-old opted for a subtle hairstyle, wearing her blonde hair down and wore only a small pearl bracelet, which gave her look an elegant finish.

She was joined by her husband, who wore a three piece suit complete with a top hot.
Both royals wore their badges, adhering to the strict dress code rule.
On the information page on the official Ascot site, it states: “Royal Enclosure Members and their guests must wear badges in their own name, and badges must not be worn by anyone other than the named individual. Badges can only be worn whilst adhering to the Royal Enclosure dress code. Members and guests must be able to show photographic identification, if requested.”
The couples’ outing comes just weeks after their lavish wedding ceremony.
The pair married in a beautiful ceremony at St George’s Chapel, in Windsor Castle last May.
The extended member of the royal family was the third in the British monarchy to wed at St George’s Chapel, in just under one year, following Meghan Markle’s marriage to Prince Harry and Princess Eugenie ‘s wedding to Jack Brooksbank last year.
The Queen and other senior members of the Royal Family, including Prince Harry, attended Lady Gabriella’s big day.
Who is Lady Gabriella?
The young royal is the daughter of Prince Michael of Kent.
His Royal Highness Prince Michael is the Queen’s first cousin, which makes Lady Gabriella her first cousin once removed, and a fairly close relative of not only the monarch, but also Prince William and Prince Harry. Prince Michael is also distantly related to Prince Philip.
Her full name is Lady Gabriella Marina Alexandra Ophelia Windsor and she is often called “Ella” by family and close friends.
Lady Gabriella happens to share a birthday with Queen Elizabeth II, with both being born on April 23, and despite being an extended family member of The Royal Family, she is still in line to the throw. Although, the birth of Prince Louis knocked her down to 50th.
