Lady Kitty Spencer flashes £150K diamond engagement ring in first outing since proposal
Lady Kitty Spencer, 29, was first rumoured to be engaged earlier this month, and it seems her outing today flashing a massive diamond ring confirms the happy news. Kitty – the neice of the late Diana, Princess of Wales – is engaged to South-African born fashion tycoon Michael Lewis, 60.
Speaking about the ring, Eddie LeVian, CEO of celebrity jewellery house Le Vian, said: “I estimate that the eternity-style ring Lady Kitty Spencer has been spotted wearing weighs a total of seven carats – although it’s difficult to tell the exact weight of each diamond based on the photographs – and that her fiance would have chosen top quality diamonds and parted with £150,000 for it.”
Oliver Horner Appraiser Prestige Pawnbrokers of Channel 4s Posh Pawn said: “This gorgeous full hoop diamond full band engagement ring is of extremely high quality.
“The full band is set with large emerald cut diamonds, each stone looks to be approximately one and a half carats and I would estimate the total diamond weight of the ring to be between 25 and 30 carats.
“Judging from the image the diamonds look to be of exceptional quality and I estimate a clarity grade to be between flawless and VVS1 and to be of D to F colour which is the very best.
“I believe a ring of this exceptional quality would have an would cost between £200,000 – £300,000 maybe even more given the provenance of such a piece.”

Kitty will become Michael’s second wife after dating for a couple of years. It is not known when the couple will wed, but society brides tend to hold their weddings relatively quickly after engagements are announced.
It is a busy year for royal and aristocratic weddings, with Princess Beatrice, Cressida Bonas and James Middleton all set to walk down the aisle in 2020.
Lady Kitty’s wedding is sure to be a lavish and stylish affair, with the beautiful bride taking her pick of top designers.
She has worked in modelling and styling, utilising her royal connections. She is signed with Storm Model Management and has been modelling since 2015, however, she has mainly worked for Dolce & Gabbana both on and off the catwalk.
Dolce & Gabbana have a history of employing members of the British Royal Family to model for them, including Lady Amelia Windsor.
The privately educated socialite was raised in South Africa, with her mother hailing from the country.
She has a Master’s Degree in luxury brand management from the European Business School London at Regent’s University London.
Lady Kitty’s ring has been valued at a whopping £150,000 – but this pales in comparison to some other society brides.
Pippa Middleton, now married to James Matthews, has a ring thought to be worth £250,000.
