Last Night in Soho pictures: First image from Edgar Wright film revealed

Edgar Wright has revealed the first image from his new film, Last Night in Soho. The film has some mega stars in it, and it looks like filming has finished. Here is what we know about the film so far.

What is Last Night in Soho about?

At the moment very little is known about the film.

All we have heard from the director is that Last Night in Soho is set in London, and is psychological horror film inspired by Nicolas Roeg’s Don’t Look Now and Roman Polanski’s compulsion.

We also know the cast is pretty impressive.

Who is in the cast of Last Night in Soho?

Anya Taylor-Joy and Matt Smith star in Last Night in Soho.

Alongside them are veteran stars Diana Rigg and Terence Stamp, along with young star Thomasin McKenzie, who will first be seen on the big screen in her role in Taika Waititi’s Jojo Rabbit.

English actress Rita Tushingham, Michael Ajao and Synnøve Karlsen will also perform in the film.

What does the picture show?

The image shows Thomasin McKenzie looking terrified with blond hair and black make up pouring down around her eyes.

It looks as though she may be watching a screen, as the light shines brightly on her face, or perhaps in front of a window with light billowing in from outside.

What is clear is this film will be a lot more frightening than any of Wright’s previous works.

Wright is known for his comedic films, including the Three Flavours Cornetto trilogy with Simon Pegg and Nick Frost, as well as Scott Pilgrim vs the World and Baby Driver.

Last Night in Soho is expected to hit cinemas on September 25, 2020
