Linkin Park officially cancel tour after Chester Bennington’s death at age 41
Promoters Live Nation have confirmed that the One More Light shows will no longer go ahead in light of the sad news.
“The Linkin Park One More Light North American Tour has been cancelled,” they announced on Twitter.
“Refunds avail at point of purchase. Our thoughts to all affected.”
A spokesperson added: “We are incredibly saddened to hear about the passing of Chester Bennington.”

Bennington died on Thursday in a suicide by hanging. He was 41. Musicians have been paying tribute in their droves, with songwriter Julia Michaels saying on Instagram: “Last year I got to meet one of the most incredible musicians I’ve ever worked with. Every time I’d see him he had the biggest smile on his face and would make everybody in the room laugh. “He had the brightest spirit and such a warm heart.” Rihanna said: “Literally the most impressive talent I’ve ever seen live! Vocal beast!”
