Martin Lewis Black Friday 2018 deals: Best offers at Amazon, John Lewis and more

Martin Lewis is a financial expert with his own TV show on ITV, and on Tuesday he outlined the best deals to keep your eye out for – and they’re now live.

The Money Saving Expert revealed his predictions for which brands will be taking part, and what discounts they’ll be offering, as part of his “Festive Forecaster”.

Based on Black Friday deals from the last few years, Martin outlined the deals on offer this year at retailers such as Boots, ASOS and Amazon.

Many of the offers included in his forecaster are live now.

Amazon

The Amazon Black Friday 2018 sale started on 16 November and will run through until 25 November – which is unofficially known as Cyber Monday.

The outlet is offering “Deals of the Day” slashing prices on must-have electronics, toys and fashion to sports, beauty, home items and more.

Ikea

Ikea will be giving away Christmas trees in this year’s Ikea Black Friday sale – and it’s not the first year they’ve offered this impressive deal.

The Swedish company, for the sixth year in a row, is offering customers the chance to get a tree for just £5.

From Thursday 22 November if you buy a £25 Christmas tree you’ll receive a £20 voucher for the shop – thus purchasing the festive foliage for just £5.

The department store is yet to confirm its taking part in Black Friday, but it has launched its ‘Christmas Comes Early’ sale.

Currently the highstreet shop has a whopping 50 per cent off bedroom furniture, 20 per cent off other furniture, and a third slashed off cases of wine.

American Express

If used in thousands of stores you can get £5 off minimum spend.

KFC

If you use the KFC app on Black Friday you can get a portion of free chips without doing any other spending.

If you are looking to participate in Black Friday, Martin advises people to ask themselves whether they actually need the item they’re interested in buying.

Martin Lewis revealed another important tip for saving hundreds of pounds this Christmas.
