Marvel boss Kevin Feige has PERFECT response to James Cameron's Avengers BASHING

He may have made the two highest grossing movies of all time (Avatar and Titanic), but Cameron has a problem with fellow billion-dollar box office smashes.

The Marvel Cinematic Universe is the world’s most successful franchise and the director thinks it’s time these superheroes hung up their capes.

Speaking with Indie Wire, Cameron said: “I’m hoping we’ll start getting ‘Avenger’ fatigue here pretty soon.

“It’s just, come on guys, there are other stories to tell besides hypergonadal males [men who produce too much testosterone] without families doing death-defying things for two hours and wrecking cities in the process. It’s like, oy!”

Cameron added: “Not that I don’t love the [Avengers] movies. It’s just come on, guys.”

Now these comments have been brought up by Vulture in a recent interview with Marvel boss Feige during the Avengers Infinity War press tour.

Amusingly the last comment was read out to him and the producer used that for a hilarious response.

Beige said: “Uh, he loves the movies! That’s awesome!

“Wow, James Cameron loves our movies! That’s exciting.”

The Marvel boss also recently gave an update on the Spider-Man Homecoming sequel.

Speaking with io9, the producer said: “We start filming early July. We film in London. We shot first film in Atlanta.

“And we shoot a lot of films in London but there’s another reason we’re shooting in London which is, yes, Spidey, of course, will spend some time in New York, but he’ll spend some time in other parts of the globe.

“The way Civil War and the fact that he went to Leipzig Airport and then has to go back to school, informed Homecoming, the two Avengers films that precede [the sequel] will greatly inform, probably even more so, the next movie.”

The Spider-Man Homecoming sequel will hit cinemas in Summer 2019 after Avengers 4.

Avengers Infinity War will be released in UK cinemas on April 27, 2018.
