Mary Poppins Returns soundtrack: Who is Loic Nottet? Does he sing on the soundtrack?
Critics have been positive when it comes to the newest Disney sequel in cinemas. Mary Poppins Returns will arrive on UK screens on December 21, just in time for Christmas. Though the sequel gives a generous wink to its predecessor, none of the original songs features in the new movie. With Lin Manuel Miranda lending is inimitable vocal talents to Mary Poppins Returns, however, the soundtrack is in good hands.
Who is Loic Nottet? Does he sing on the Mary Poppins Returns soundtrack?
A quick peruse through Instagram will give you a wonderfully colourful and expertly choreographed new rendition of Supercalifragilisticexpialidocious.
Though sung by Belgian talent Loïc Nottet, this song does not appear in the soundtrack.
The video is a promotional clip from Disney Belgique, who has partnered with the singer for the cover.
Nottet is a Belgian singer, songwriter, and dancer, who finished second in the third season of The Voice Belgique in 2014.
He was born on April 10, 1996, and represented Belgium in the Eurovision Song Contest 2015 held in Vienna, Austria.
Nottet placed fourth in the wildly popular song contents, garnering 217 points.
His first full-length album was titled Selfocracy and was released on March 31, 2017.
Last month, Nottet released a single titled On Fire which has been received well by critics.
After his appearance on Eurovision, Nottet appeared on Danse Avec les Stars, the French version of Dancing With The Stars, and won the show.
