Meghan Markle and Prince Harry commemorate Anzac Day in London
Meghan Markle, 36, and husband-to-be Prince Harry, 33, attended a dawn service to honour Australian and New Zealand casualties and veterans on Anzac Day.
The service at Hyde Park Corner marks the anniversary of the landings in the Dardanelles on April 25, 1915 that would signal the start of the Gallipoli Campaign during the First World War.
The Suits actress wore a double-breasted grey military style coat and black heels to the early morning event. She teamed her look with a wide brimmed black hat.
Meghan also wore a traditional red poppy on her lapel in remembrance of those who died in war.
Harry who served in the armed forces chose to wear a civilian suit adorned with his military medals and a Knight Commander of the Royal Victorian Order medal around his neck.
The Prince paid his respects with a handwritten note and a wreath of red roses. The note read: “For all those who have made the ultimate sacrifice in pursuit of our freedom. Thank you. Harry”
