Meghan Markle and Prince Harry news: Latest relationship updates as royal love heats up

Tonight Prince Harry will be talking about his relationship with his late mother Princess Diana. The Prince and his brother Prince William have both been gearing up for the TV special, in which they will discuss their mother for the first time on a public forum.

The official Kensington Palace Twitter account posted this morning: “Tune in to @ITV tonight at 9pm to watch ‘Diana, Our Mother: Her Life and Legacy.’”

The princes have been embracing their public-facing roles this year, with Prince William and the Duchess of Cambridge taking their family on a tour of Europe last week. 

And Prince Harry has gain column inches thanks to his relationship with stunning Suits actress Meghan Markle. Most recent rumours have suggested that the loved-up pair are getting very serious. 

It’s not hard to see why after Meghan Markle was dubbed “almost identical” to what is deemed to be the ‘perfect face’, according to scientific research.

A cosmetic doctor claims the Suits actress is “almost identical” to the image most people across the world find most attractive in a woman.

Dr Ifeoma Ejikeme, Consultant Physician at UCLH and Medical Director of Adonia Medical Clinic, claim Meghan Markle’s face fits the Greek rule of a Phi.

The Phi or ‘golden’ ratio is a mathematic ratio used to measure beauty, and can be applied to many things including painting, buildings and the human face.

Could they get married in 2017? Will we see a royal engagement with Harry getting down on one knee before the year is out? 

Prince Harry, 32, and Meghan Markle, 35, are planning an elopement, according to a source.

Far from the tradition of tax-payer funded lavish wedding ceremonies enjoyed by the royal family, the source suggests the pair might have a small, secret again.

A source told US Weekly that Prince Harry has suggested to Meghan “that they could get married somewhere private and elope rather than have a showy wedding”. 

Earlier this month, former US marine and Paralympic hopeful Kirstie Ennis, a close friend of Prince Harry, was asked whether she would be at the “upcoming wedding” by reporters.

Nodding, she replied: “I don’t think I’m worried about the wedding. I’m worried about the after party.” Quickly realising she had said too much, Ennis said she was “pleading the fifth” when pushed further.

Prince Harry, 33, became friends with Ennis after the pair met at a Walking With the Wounded charity event.

These recent comments are not the only suggestion Meghan, 35, and the Prince are set to wed soon.

Meghan has been married previously, opting for a luxurious wedding at the Jamaica Inn in Ocho Rios, Jamaica.

The ceremony lasted for days and saw 102 guests in attendance. 

Meghan met long-term beau Trevor Engelson, 40, seven years before they tied the knot in 2011 – and the pair had been together since university.

However, the happy union was not to last – and ended in a no-fault divorce just two years after Meghan said her vows.

While Prince Harry and Meghan may well eschew a fancy wedding for a no-fuss private elopement, they are welcome to marry at Westminster Abbey.

It was previously thought the royal wedding location would be out of bounds for the couple as Meghan is a divorcee.

However, a spokesman for Westminster Abbey said: “The Abbey follows the General Synod Ruling of 2002. Since then it has been possible for divorced people to be married in the Church of England.”

The spokesman also confirmed that Meghan’s Jewish background would not prevent her from having an “interfaith” marriage there.

Express.co.uk revealed the amount that Prince Harry and Meghan would be worth if their net worths were combined.

According to CelebrityNetWorth.com, Meghan’s net worth comes in at $5million – which is nearly £4million.

Prince Harry’s wealth, however, dwarfs that of his girlfriend, as he enjoys a fortune of $40million – the equivalent of more than £30million.

Whilst Meghan, 35, earned her money through her acting career and various endorsements, Prince Harry, 33, inherited his vast wealth.
