Meghan Markle closes the Invictus Games in stunning green halterneck dress
Meghan Markle, 37, and Prince Harry, 33, were both in attendance for the closing ceremony of the 2018 Invictus Games.
Meghan wore a dark green halterneck dress with a button wrap detail, which was designed by designer Antonio Berardi.
The tuxedo-style dress was accompanied with a Remembrance Day poppy on her left side, and a crescent-shaped clutch bag.
Her ensemble was completed with cream-coloured heeled shoes, statement earrings and her hair was in a neat chignon.
Meghan gave a short speech to the crowd, at the Qudos Bank Arena, in Sydney’s Olympic Park.
She thanked the organisers of the Invictus Games, and the athletes for making the events so special.
Prince Harry also took to the stage to say how humbled and inspired he was by the veterans’ service and sense of humour.
The royal couples’ appearance was expected to be their last in Australia before heading to New Zealand on Sunday morning.
They had been in Australia, Fiji and Tonga as part of their Oceania tour.
Meghan and Harry had previously been spotted at the final of the Invictus Games wheelchair basketball.
Meghan was seen wearing a casual, maroon wrap jacket, by Australian designer Scanlan Theodore.
The slim fit crepe knit wrap top was described as a tailored jacket, which included a wrap front, waist tie and ruffled hem.
She once again wore her Remembrance Day poppy, along with black tapered trousers and Sarah Flint high heels.
The jacket costs £429 ($550), while the shoes were £308 ($395).
Meghan appeared relaxed as she watched the wheelchair basketball with her husband Harry.
The match was eventually won by USA, who received the gold medal. The Netherlands were awarded the silver medal.
Meghan herself had the honour of awarding the medals to the athletes.
But, one cheeky Dutch athlete broke protocol and gave the Duchess a kiss on the cheek, instead of bowing his head.
Harry and Meghan’s tour of Oceania is coming towards its end, as the royal pair are due to fly home on Wednesday October 31.
