Meghan Markle, a former actress who starred in American TV show Suits, announced her engagement to Prince Harry, who is sixth in line to the British throne, on November 27 last year.

The much-loved royal couple have had a busy year since that historic announcement on the steps of Kensington Garden one year ago.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex, who married at Windsor Castle in May and embarked on their first international tour of Australia and New Zealand last month, revealed they are expecting their first child together in Spring 2019.

This year, the newlyweds will spend their engagement anniversary apart as the Prince, 34, currently tours Zambia for a short royal visit without his pregnant wife.
