Meghan Markle, 36, is currently on day three of the New Zealand leg of the royal tour.

Today the Duke and Duchess attended a reception hosted by the Prime Minister at the Auckland War Memorial Museum.

For the event, the mother-to-be looked understated and stunning in a navy evening dress.

The dress showed off Meghan’s slender legs, with a long trail and lifted hemline at the front.

Similar in style to the Roland Mouret dress she wore the day before her wedding, the dress was navy blue in colour and featured structured tailoring.

It boasted a high neckline and was double-breasted with buttons running down the length of the dress.

Cinched in at the waist, the dress then floated out with excess material.

Showing off Meghan’s slender legs, the dress was long at the back but featured a raised hemline at the front.

Meghan previously wore this dress for one of her first ever public events with Prince Harry, spotted wearing it to the polo in May 2017.

Designed by Antonio Beradi, the dress retailed at £2683 when it was for sale earlier in the year.

Beneath the flowing skirts, Meghan wore a pair of classic, grey Aquazzura Deneuve heels, high heels.

The pointed-toe stilettos had an open back, a style favourited by the Duchess.

In an unusual style move for the Duchess, Meghan opted for bold makeup, which included a bright fuchsia lipstick.

The Duchess usually wears more muted colours, including nudes, pinks and browns.

She wore her glossy brunette locks loose and down and carried the Dior “Bee” navy clutch bag with her.

Peaking out from underneath her locks was a pair of classic and understated gold earrings.

Harry and Meghan were being hosted by New Zealand’s Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern

Yesterday, Meghan also wore a double-breasted dress for an event in Wellington.

A fan of the tuxedo-style, the Duchess wore a white, mini dress was by New Zealand-based designer, Maggie Marilyn.

The “Leap of Faith” dress is still available online to pre-order, costing NZ$1,020 (£520).
