Melania Trump stuns in buttercup yellow as she heads to Blenheim Palace with Donald Trump

Melania Trump wore a glamorous buttercup yellow J Mendel gown, £5000, for her first night in the UK today.

The First Lady walked out of the American Embassy in London with her husband Donald Trump, heading to a waiting helicopter.

A night at Blenheim Palace awaited the President and his wife, with Donald suitably dressed for the occassion in a tuxedo.

Melania’s gown was perfect for a night at a Palace, and the dress featured yards of yellow chiffon.

A criss-cross design came off her shoulders, with a cape hanging from the back of the dress.

Melania wore her hair in a sweeping side-parting, curled loosely and hanging over her shoulders.

Her huge diamond engagement ring coud be seen sparkling on her finger, but she chose to forgo all other jewellery for her first night out in the UK.

The mum-of-one als kept her makeup understated, wearing pink lipstick and heavy mascara, but nothing more complicated.

At Blenheim Palace, the Trump’s will join Prime Minister Theresa May, enjoying a dinner with business leaders and other politicians.

Newly appointed Foreign Secretary Jeremy Hunt and his wife Lucia were just one political couple seen arriving at the Palace ready to enjoy what is sure to be a lavish evening.

Melania and Donald arrived in the UK today, and as always, Melania didn’t disappoint with her first outfit.

She chose a tight pencil dress by Roland Mouret as she stepped off the plane.

The dress closely resembled a previous look of Meghan Markle’s, and the taupe colourway is exclusive to SAKS Fifth Avenue.

The belted skintight dress looked very similar to what Meghan wore for her engagement in Chester with the Queen last month.

It had a orange skinny belt which highlighted Melania’s tiny waist and hourglass figure.

Blenheim Palace is home to the Duke and Duchess of Marlborough.

Tomorrow, the Trump’s will journey to Buckinghamshire, where they will meet with Theresa May at Chequers.

Chequers is a sprawling country manor house used by UK Prime Ministers.

It is Grade I listed and on the National Heritage List for England, with beautiful landscaped parks and gardens.

Topping off her visit, Melania is even set to meet the Queen.
