Melania Trump takes on Brigitte Macron as Donald’s wife stuns in silver Chanel
Melania Trump, 47, looked incredible last night in a stunning silver Chanel dress.
The former model from Slovenia opted for a silver number, with a daringly low back.
A sexy number, the dress – by a French fashion house – clung to Melania’s curves beautifully.
The dress had a see-through top and black Chantilly lace, sliver sequins and a sparkling crystals.
Melania’s hair was blow dried straight and she opted for a smokey eye with nude shining lips.
Brigitte Macron, 65, brought her A-game with a long ballgown, also by a French fashion house.
The Louis Vuitton number with long sleeves and golden brocade, channelling a Grecian look.
Donald Trump, 72, and Emmanuel Macron, 40, carried on the love fest at the State Dinner at the White House.
The pair kissed in a friendly manner before heading inside to eat.
Trump is hosting Macron for a two-day official visit that included dinner at George Washington’s Mount Vernon, a tree planting on the White House South Lawn and a joint news conference.
The trip has seen the First Ladies for the two countries caught in a fashion face off.
The glamorous women have exhibited some inspiring fashion looks in the past few days.
Yesterday Melania Trump’s hat was the centre of much debate as to whether the First Lady made a fashion faux pas, or looked fabulous.
Clearly aware that the world’s media would be watching, Melania topped off her outfit with a massive wide-brimmed hat, designed by Hervé Pierre.
The First Lady chose a white skirt suit, which cost $2,195 (£1,572.25) Michael Kors Collection, and matching hat as she stood with Donald on the red carpet.
Earlier that day Melania Trump’s legs stole the show as she wore a chic black look with a cape.
Brigitte also opted for a leggy look, donning her favourite mini skirt style.
Melania’s black cape look was by Givenchy.
The dress, with a tuxedo style lapel and cape cost a whopping £1,999.80 from the brand.
Melania opted for her favourite French shoe designer, Louboutin.
