Melania Trump: The shocking sum Donald Trump’s wife has spent on her wardrobe revealed

Melania Trump has a wardrobe full of chic designer pieces that she showcases whenever she steps out.  Formally a model, the First Lady is no stranger to following the trends and it seems this is something she has kept with her since entering the White House.  In April, Melania spent an estimated £12,800 on clothes, according to reports on her outfits.  While she wore some very expensive pieces, some of her garments could not be identified, meaning her total spend is likely to be much more.

When Melania returned from a weekend in Mar-a-Lago with Donald Trump at the beginning of April, she wore a lilac Valentino coat, dark jeans and black pumps.

The colourful designer coat is on sale for £1739. Her shoes were believed to be Manolo Blank flats and similar ones by the designer are on sale for £792.

Heading back to Mar-A-Lago later in the month, the First Lady looked chic in a fitted white dress.

She teamed this with a floral black and white coat which was draped over her shoulders.

The coat, by designer Adam Lippes, is sold-out, but was previously on sale for around £1729.

This outfit was matched with sherbet “So Kate” Christian Louboutin stilettos, which cost around £442.

When visiting American troops in North Carolina, the former model wore a cotton-blend drill blazer by Alexa Chung.

The utility style belted jacket retailed for around £690, pushing up Melania’s total spend.

Melania channelled Hollywood glamour with  an ankle-length black and white polka dot dress, which cost around £1700. 

At Easter, she stuck with her pricey brands for the Easter egg roll at the White House.

Wearing a long-sleeved denim shirt dress, she joined in the Easter festivities with Donald Trump.

The dress cut off just below her knees and was Michael Kors number, which cost £4400.

On 26 April, Melania celebrated her birthday by having dinner with the Japanese Prime Minister, Shinzo Abe, and first lady, Aike Abe.

she wore a lace white dress for the occasion, which was believed to be a Lela Rose design which cost £1300. 

Just from the outfits with details available, the First Lady showed off her love of designer clothes and wracked up the huge monthly wardrobe cost.
