Michelle Mone says what she REALLY thinks of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's relationship
Business tycoon, Michelle, 45, found new love with Scots billionaire Doug Barrowman last year.
Since then, the founder of British underwear brand Ultimo, which she sold 80 per cent of in 2015, has set up a new business venture, Michelle Mone Interiors.
Everything appears to have fallen in place for the Baroness, so what is her opinion of the couple on everyone’s lips right now – Prince Harry, 32, and Meghan Markle, 36?
The young prince and Suits actress have been dating since last year, and rumours of their engagement have been circulating since their latest trip to Africa together.
Family members and close friends of the couple have revealed their thoughts on the couple, but what does Lady Mone think of the pairing?
She said: “I’m really happy for them and wish them every bit of luck. Prince Harry is a great young man.”
The entrepreneur, who established her previous business Ultimo nearly 20 years ago, has made a huge transition over the years, moving from designing bras to renovating home interiors.
Her political career has even kicked-off, having been introduced into the House of Lords in 2015, and being appointed to conduct a two part government review for the Prime Minister David Cameron on business start-ups in deprived areas.
Despite having been in the ‘Remain’ camp during the referendum, Michelle said she respects the British public’s decision.
Speaking to Express.co.uk she said: “The British public voted to leave Europe and that’s something I respect.
“Like any break in business, it will take time, there will be a lot of hard times ahead but we must find solutions and be hopeful for the future.
“We were given a choice and the majority of the public have spoken.”
Businesses will be impacted according to Michelle – but in the world of business there are always ups and downs.
Like many, Michelle said the impact Brexit will have on business, like her own, is hard to say right now.
She said: “It is hard to say at this stage. No one really knows and that’s the issue right now, it’s the fear of the unknown.
“We must be resilient and adapt to the changes as much as we can with the support of the Government.”
