Naked women wear DUCT TAPE to night clubs in a bizarre and sexy new trend
The Black Tape Project sees women covered in duct tape very carefully, in a bid to flatter their figures, while also leaving as little as possible to the imagination.
The women are pictured partying in nightclubs in the outfits, which are cut by hand.
The website claims the project “incorporates one of the most common household items, coalesced with (…) the natural beauty of the human body.”
Touting itself as an innovative fashion “experiment”, The Black Tape Project – created by Miami artist, Joel Alvarez – aims to capture the feeling of the nightlife in the area.
“We are an exclusive entertainment experience that cannot be duplicated,” the company’s site claims – despite the fact that almost anyone can get their hands on black tape and scissors.
What’s more, any woman can apply to be a model – where they will be able to appear in live “art” shows at venues such as Ibiza hotels.
The project is highly popular, and almost a million people follow the movement online.
However, some mixed opinions on the project can be found on the Facebook page.
One wrote: “So gross to read these comments on this page how men who are void of love speak about the beauty of women like they are at cheap KFC orders.”
Another said: “Just be nude. what is the fear that americans have with nudity?”
Some are full of praise, however, and have some suggestions for the artist.
“Your a lucky man and the ladies are fantastic (…) when does the clear tape project going to start? [sic]” another commented.
The tape movement follows the popularity of the body paint movement, which saw many women painting bikinis on.
A gang of women recently went surfing in bodysuits that later appeared to be just body paint
A video was posted online of the nearly-nude women frolicking in the sea.
Three stunning models frolicked in the sand and the surf completely naked – but they disguised their nudity.
