Is PIP paid in arrears?
People aged 16 and over can claim PIP amounts ranging from £23.60 to £151.40 per week.
To qualify, they must first undergo an assessment from a health professional, with rates regularly reviewed.
The government has split the benefit split into two sections, daily living and mobility, which pay out different amounts.

The coronavirus outbreak has also affected PIP, as the government cuts down on face-to-face contact.
People receiving the benefit will no longer need to attend an assessment in person.
If they have one scheduled, the provider will contact them to plan a way forward.
Thérèse Coffey, the Work and Pensions Secretary, said the government would do “whatever it takes” to protect people on the benefit.
