Prince Charles and Camilla, Duchess of Cornwall visit The Gambia during Africa tour
The Prince of Wales and Duchess of Cornwall arrived at the State House in The Gambia today for a meeting with Adama Barrow, the President of the country.
The royal couple, who touched down in Africa yesterday, walked down a red carpet after exiting their VIP car.
Camilla Parker Bowles, 71, wore a long mint green shirt dress over cream trousers as she walked closely behind her husband.
She carried a small purse with pictures of cherries on it under one arm and a cream parasol, to protect herself from the African sunshine, in the other.
A cream espadrille-type sandal with sheer fabric completed her outfit.
Prince Charles, who turns 70 on November 14, looked smart in a classic grey suit with a remembrance poppy on his left lapel.
The Prince of Wales will visit the Gambian Armed Forces Training Centre and the Medical Research Council, which is a faculty of the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine during thier time in The Gambia.
This part of their tour celebrates The Gambia’s return into the Commonwealth back in February this year.
The heir to the British throne and his wife will visit The Gambia, Ghana and Nigeria while in Africa.
