Princess Eugenie reignites Sarah Ferguson and Prince Andrew marriage rumours with picture

Princess Eugenie took to social media to share an adorable photo this throwback Thursday.The 29-year-old uploaded two images – one of which showed her with her mother, Sarah, Duchess of York and another which also included her dad Prince Andrew. “With all this incredible sport taking place this summer I thought I’d throwback to us watching my Sisters Sports Day 1993! I wonder what Papa and I are talking about… #wimbledon #womensworldcup #cricketworldcup” (sic) she captioned the images, which she shared to her 1million followers. Within seconds fans rushed to comment on the photo, with many complimenting Eugenie on “how cute” she looked as a child.

However, others were more interested in Eugenie’s parents, with the image prompting questions about their relationship.

“What a beautiful family you have !! Hope your parents remarry !!” one fan wrote.

“So when are the parents getting back together officially?” another asked, adding to love-struck eye emojis.

“Love your family. So so much respect for your mum and dad and how strong you all are,” a third said.

Rumours have been swirling that the couple will get back together.

A royal insider previously revealed that Andrew and Fergie had been in talks about remarrying.

Speaking to renowned American journalist Edward Klein in 2011, an unnamed friend of the Duke and Duchess said: “You have to understand that Andrew still loves Sarah.

“I was with Andrew and Sarah one day when they discussed getting remarried.

“She thought her career would continue to support her expensive lifestyle, and she didn’t want to give all that up to become a boring royal again.

“Then, after Sarah’s American career collapsed, it was Andrew who didn’t want to remarry her.

“He told me, ‘Given Sarah’s weaknesses, she wouldn’t make an appropriate royal anymore.’

“Also, for the sake of his daughters, Andrew didn’t want to cause a commotion at Buckingham Palace.”

And Fergie has done little to dispel the remarriage rumours, publicly gushing about her ex in the past, and attending events with him.

Just last month, they arrived at Royal Ascot together sparking a flurry of comments about the status of their relationship.

The same month, Fergie posted a beautiful family picture on Instagram with Prince Andrew and their two daughters Princess Beatrice and Princess Eugenie at The Colonel’s Review.

And she previously said they’d “never left each other” when asked whether they’d remarry.

Fans are now waiting for the couple to to make the announcement with many convinced they’ll get back together.
