Queen Letizia glows in 50 shades of blue to meet Ukrainian President in Madrid

Queen Letizia of Spain, 45, is regarded as one of the most beautiful and stylish royals around.

Stepping out today she  the president of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko, 52, and his wife, Maryna Poroshenko, stunning in a blue t-shirt, midi skirt ensemble. 

Along with her husband King Felipe VI, 50, Letizia welcomed the Ukrainian first couple to the Palacio de la Zarzuela, their official residence in the outskirts of Madrid.

After a busy couple of weeks including trips to Geneva and the Caribbean, Letizia looked glowing and relaxed, wearing a tight, navy blue figure-hugging jersey T-shirt and floral skirt.

Cinched in a the waist by a chunky navy blue belt with silver buckle, the whimsical A-line midi skirt was covered in strong blue, purple, yellow and pink floral patterns.

Off-set by a more subdued white and grey base, the skirt was pleated from the waist, accentuatingsvelte figure. 

The summery midi skirt is by Spanish fashion house Adolfo Dominguez, still in stock for just £150.

The Spanish fashion designer’s work is a favourite with Letizia, having worn his creations many times before.

Matching her many shades of blue, Letizia elongated her toned legs with a simple pair of navy blue pointed stiletto heels.

Opting for a summery makeup look, the mother-of-two wore her signature smoky eye in shades of subtle shades of purple and pink, with a nude-brown lip.

Enhancing the look, the former journalist wore a pair of stunning blue drop down earrings, no doubt worth a pretty penny.

Wearing her enviably glossy locks loosely down in a wavy blow dry, she tucked strands behind her ears to expose the show-stopping blue earrings.

The Spanish royals were welcoming the Ukranian president and his wife to the palace as part of their state visit to Spain.

The Ukranian First Lady opted for a look contrasting to that of Letitia’s more laid-back, summery approach, wearing a bold, 80’s style black fitted midi dress.

Featuring statement shoulder pads Maryna accessorised the elegant look with a stop necklace and heeled court shoes.

Showing off her effortlessly chic sense of style, Queen Letizia was spotted last week in San Millan de la Cogolla wearing an all black look with pinky, red coat. 

The brunette royal attended the inauguration of the 13th International Seminar of Language and Journalism at the Monastery of Yuso in San Millan de la Cogolla, Spain.

Adding some rock-chick glamour to the occasion, the Queen wore skin-tight black leather trousers that clung to her toned limbs.

She complemented the look with sky-high black stilettos and large envelope clutch bag, with smudged black eyeliner completing the edgy look.

Softening the look, the pretty coat was made of a brocade material and had a small geometric print.
