Queen Letizia, 46, was spotted in Madrid today as she went to visit new facilities installed at the Real Monasterio de La Encarnacion.

She wore a vibrant green silk dress by the affordable French designer Sandro, which is currently on sale for £189 knocked down from the price of £315.

Fans of the stylish royal might recognise this dress as she wore it in December last year to attend the closure of AFAMMER International Congress in Madrid.

Today, Queen Letizia seemed to match the outfit with the same pair of black patent leather stilettos that she wore last year.

The forest green dress has a scarf print which features a mint and white design.

It has a plunging neckline, long sleeves that are cuffed at the ends and a pleated midi skirt which cuts off just above her ankle.

Queen Letizia paired the look with a long black coat which she draped over her shoulders as she had a tour of the convent.

Her hair was styled into a sleek blow-dry and fans could see a pair of small silver earrings behind her hair.

She opted for simple make-up to compliment the stand out dress as she wore brown eyeshadow and a pale pink lipgloss.

She arrived carrying a large envelope clutch bag but appeared to put this down before she was shown around the venue.

Usually choosing the wear modern block colours, the patterned dress ensured all eyes were on the stunning royal.

Queen Letizia was first spotted wearing the stunning outfit five months ago at another event in Madrid.

On that occasion, she chose to pair the look with a smaller black leather clutch bag which featured a gold buckle.

She wore darker make-up then with a smokey eye and lashings of mascara.

Queen Letizia wore another stunning design last month as she attended a gala banquet dinner hosted by the President and First Lady of Argentina at the Kirchner Cultural Centre.

She wore a teal midi dress which had a fitted bodice and billowed outwards below the waist.

The dress had a plunging neckline and was covered with a lavish floral gold pattern.

The floor length ready to wear version is currently for sale online for £6,406.16 – although Saks Fifth Avenue were offering a discount of $250 (around £189) at the time she wore it.

The Queen accessorised the look with a gold Carolina Herrera Metropolitan Insignia clutch, which costs £995.
