Queen Letizia shows her charitable side in chic white trousers on Dominican Republic visit

Queen Letizia of Spain, 45, stepped out today in the Dominican Republic as part of her official duties.

The stunning royal looked slender and chic in a tailored white two piece outfit during the visit.

She met locals as part of a Spanish water distribution project in the Monte Plata rural community near Santo Domingo.

Letizia showed off her characteristic good taste and style with the well balanced combination of a loose fitting top and tight trousers.

Her lithe, toned arms and shoulders were put on show in the sleeveless top, although she added a black blazer later in the day.

The vertical stripes helped to lengthen her body, while the baggy fit suited the hot cliamte.

Her white trousers were cut perfectly to a crop length to show off a hint of ankle.

Letizia normally wears heels for public appearances, but ditched them for this occasion. 

Instead, she opted for flat textured black lace up brogues as she made her way through the area.

She wore no jewellery with the simple look, save for a pair of diamond stud earrings.

Queen Letizia also appeared to have toned down her makeup for the occasion.

While she often opts for smoky eyes, she wore simply mascara and brow pencil.

She appeared to be wearing a small amount of blusher on her cheeks, and a sweep of bronzer.

She completed the look with a dusky pink lipstick to bring out her features.

Last Friday, Queen Letizia looked chic in monochrome during a public engagement in Madrid.

Mum-of-two Letizia showed off her trim figure in a pair of slim cut black trousers which were cropped at the ankle.

A row of buttons could be seen running up the leg of the trousers.

She paired this with a simple black top, and over the top, she wore a collarless white swing coat which added a 60s feel to her look.

Letizia wore a pair of simple black court shoes. The skinny heels added inches to her frame.

Pulling the look together, Letizia carried a white and black clutch in her hands.
