Queen Letizia shows her thrifty side as she recycles entire outfit for exhibition visit
Queen Letizia, 46, looked chic in the beige and cream attire, which was made up entirely of items of clothing she has worn to public events before. Mum-of-two Letizia donned a Carolina Herrera stone doublebreasted wool coat which she first wore in December 2016 at 40th anniversary of Zeta Group. She added a white Hugo Boss Banika blouse, a staple which she first stepped out in for the National Innovation and Design Awards in 2015. A pair of Hugo Boss camel pumps that she first wore in November 2016 during a visit to Portugal added a pop of colour.
Letizia didn’t stop at her accessories, carring a Carolina Herrera Camelot bag first debuted during a Royal History Dictionary Presentation in May this year.
She wore her new favourite Gold & Roses Crawler Skyline Earrings, £1877, which were also first seen this year at the CP Baudilio Arce in Oviedo.
The royal wore her hair in a side parting, blow dried straight over her shoulders.
She kept her makeup simple, opting for nude lipstick and light eyeshadow.
Earlier this week, Letizia looked every in the Queen in a stunning Cartier tiara.
Hosting an official gala dinner for the President of China, Xi Jinping, 65, and his wife Peng Liyuan, 56, she arrived in a stunning floor-length black dress.
She teamed the velvet evening gown, which featured long sleeves, with a pale blue and white striped sash.
The 46-year-old also sported what is believed to be Queen Maria Christina’s Cartier Loop Tiara, the website Royal Watcher blog has reported, which she is thought to have worn for the first time tonight.
The diamond and pearl tiara was given to Maria Christina of Austria by King Alfonso XII of Spain for their wedding in 1879.
It was worn on numerous occasions by King Felipe VI’s mother, Queen Sofia of Spain, 80, throughout her reign.
The beautiful monarch and her husband, 50, posed for official pictures with their guests, who are on a three-day visit to the country, before enjoying a sumptuous banquet at the Palace.
Peng Liyuan continued the monochrome theme with a stunning black dress with a white panel down the centre. She added a small purse and classic peals to her ensemble.
Earlier the same day Queen Letizia looked beautiful in a soft pink coat during and official welcoming ceremony for the Chinese President and First Lady.
Wearing her hair in a chic low bun, the royal wore a palette of pink make-up to compliment her outfit.
She added a pair of nude pumps and a matching handbag to her outfit and chose a pair of pink and green earrings to finish off the look.
