Queen Letizia shows off freshly cut hair to attend awards ceremony in Madrid

Queen Letizia, 46, wire a pair of black and white check trousers which were cropped at the ankle, showing off her black and white stiletto heels.

She paired this with a simple white silk top and a collarless black overcoat.

But it was the mum-of-two’s glossy brown hair which stole the show.

Letizia wore her hair in a very long style for years before cutting it short earlier this year.

And it seems from pictures released today the glam royal has had it freshly trimmed, as it sat in bouncy curls over her shoulders.

Nestled in her hair was a pair of simple diamond drop earrings.

King Felipe’s wife kept her makeup simple, wearing a swipe of bronzer and nude lipstick.

She completed her outfit iwth a black box clutch bag.

Queen Letizia has been busy recently, returning to work in earnest after a long summer break.

Earlier this week, she paid a visit to the Centenary School of Nursing in Madrid.

The royal looked incredible for the occasion, arriving in a printed floral red and white midi skirt and long-sleeved white blouse.

The blouse featured a pretty pleated detailing at the neckline and long sleeves.

Letizia wore the shirt tucked neatly into her skirt to highlight her slender figure and trim waist.

Her skirt also had button detailing at each side of the waist, providing a flattering structured fit.

On Monday, she flashed her thighs in an unusual dress as she stepped out with King Felipe.

Letizia chose an outfit comprised of autumnal browns. A brown check dress made up most of the look, and the dress’ unusual asymmetric hemline meant Letizia showed up lots of leg as she strode in to the museum.

Mum-of-two Letizia paired the dress with an oversized cream coat which she wore open.

She carried a brown leather clutch bag in her hands and sported a pair of matching brown leather heels on her feet.

Even Letizia’s makeup fitted in with her wardrobe tones, as she wore 90s style brown lipstick.
