Queen Letizia: Spanish royal recycles snake print dress as she attends audience in Madrid
Queen Letizia of Spain is known for the gorgeous and stylish pieces from her wardrobe and the Spanish monarch decided to recycle one of her looks today as she attended several audiences with her husband King Felipe VI at Zarzuela Palace in Madrid, Spain. The 47-year-old royal was seen wearing a floaty grey and black snake-print collared midi shirt-dress by Massimo Dutti – which she first debuted back in February. The elegant yet fun dress – which is now sold out online – featured a shirt-style collar, an attractive fitted waist held together by a belt of the same material and fell just above the calf.
She teamed the outfit with some Carolina Herrera camel suede slingback pumps, which added height to her petite 5’7 frame.
Opting for a natural glamorous look, the royal sported light brown eyeshadow, bronzed cheeks and a nude lip.
The style queen wore her brunette locks down with a soft and natural curl, she then accessorised the outfit with a simple pair of silver stud earrings.
Throughout her five-year reign as queen, former journalist and TV reporter Letiza has become well-known for her impeccable fashion choices, often eschewing luxury labels and opting instead for the higher end of the high street, in this case Letizia did just that by wearing the affordable snake print dress by Massimo Dutti which retailed at £99.95.
Last week, Queen Letizia and King Felipe Vi of Spain visited Orihuela in Spain in the wake of the floods that occurred mid September.
They were met by street-lined royal fans and admirers who were eager to get the attention of the royals.
Changing up her look, the Letizia opted for a simple white blouse and black cigarette trousers, finishing the look with a thick black belt with a large silver buckle and a pair of black loafers.
The Queen was seen in high spirits as she waved and spoke to her adoring subjects.
This look was very similar to the one she opted the day before when the Queen of Spain attended the XIV International Seminar of Language and Journalism at the Monastery of San Millan de Yuso in La Rioja.
The annual meeting gathers distinguished journalists and language experts to convene on issues of journalism and the Spanish language.
Ahead of the conference, Her Majesty greeted the crowd that had gathered to meet her and she was pictured on several occasions speaking to young children and admiring their drawings that they had created for her.
On the day, the Queen opted for a cream Hugo Boss ‘Ferora’ sweater, which retails at £139, and some black pleated-front wide leg trousers.
She then cinched her tiny waist in with a Hugo Boss ‘Nail’ black perforated belt which retails at £65 and then finished off the look wearing some tan suede Steve Madden ‘Delia’ pumps which sell for £90 and accessorised with a cream a black Adolfo Dominquez Bicolour Fold-Over clutch.
