Queen Mathilde of Belgium looks chic in checkered dress for Germany visit
Queen Mathilde of Belgium, 45, arrived at the Schloss Bellevue Presidential Palace in Germany yesterday with her husband King Philippe, 58.
The King and Queen were welcomed by German President Frank-Walter Steinmeier, 62, and German First Lady Elke Büdenbender, 56, for a royal visit.
The Belgian royal couple visited the German capital in order to commemorate the 100th anniversary of the end of the First World War.
Queen Mathilde looked chic and sophisticated when she stepped out of her car in a stylish checkered dress.
King Philippe’s wife opted for a three-quarter length, double-breasted coat dress with matching belt for the royal engagement.
She teamed the on-trend coat dress with a large burgundy hat and coordinating shoes and bag.
The elegant royal was pictured laughing with the First Lady before posing on the red carpet for a formal picture.
Inside the Palace she removed her hat for more portraits alongside her husband and the Germany President and his wife.
