Rambo 5: Sylvester Stallone shares SET VIDEOS plus ‘STILL working on script between shots’

The 72-year-old action star is busy shooting Rambo 5: Last Blood in Bulgaria and Spain.

So far he’s been updating fans through his Instagram account with new snaps of his Rambo and now he’s shared a couple of set videos.

One is a 30-second clip showing his Vietnam vet has become something of a cowboy, as he practises riding a horse in a Stetson hat.

In another piece of footage Stallone goes round in circles on a noble steed.

The actor has also added a new snap of himself in character as Rambo “lost in thought”

While yet another shows a contrast of his eyes in the new film compared to the original, 1982’s First Blood.

A caption by Stallone reads: “No beast so fierce as a man pushed to the edge… #rambo5.”

However it’s a shot of the star’s gloved hand working on the script while sitting on some farm machinery, that will cause the most attention.

Here Stallone captioned: “A Writer’s job is never done…

“Still working on the screenplay in between shots of operating an earth mover…”

The actor has penned the new script with Matt Cirulnick, but should fans be concerned he’s still tweaking the dialogue at this stage?

It’s not always a good sign, but hopefully, the move is with good intentions. Plus, as previous outings have shown, John Rambo isn’t exactly a chatterbox.

The film’s synopsis reads: “[The movie] finds him living in a ranch in Arizona, deeply troubled and wrestling with PTSD as he picks up casual work wherever he can.

“When long-time family friend and estate manager Maria informs Rambo that her granddaughter has gone missing after crossing into Mexico for a party, he sets off with her to find the youngster.

“What ensues is a violent descent into hell as Rambo uncovers a sex-trafficking ring. He teams up with a journalist whose half-sister has also been kidnapped and must deploy all his skills to save the girls and bring down a vicious crime lord.”

Rambo 5: Last Blood is set for release in Autumn 2019.
