Ryan Reynolds saved his nephew using CPR
Ryan Reynolds has revealed he was able to save his nephew’s life after taking a first aid course.
The Deadpool star shared a photo on Instagram of himself and his first aid coach, advising his fans to take the course.
“Years ago, I took a CPR course thru the Red Cross. And holy s***, I ended up saving my nephew’s life because I knew what to do!,” Reynolds wrote.
“True story! Yesterday I took a refresher course — focusing on infant and toddler CPR.
“It takes only a few hours and it’s also kinda, sorta fun.”
“Thank you to Dan from Viva First Aid for the lesson,” he added.
“And thank you to these two helpful yet lifeless dolls whose vacant ocular cavities will haunt me until end times.”
The 40-year-old star is father to two young daughters with wife and fellow movie star Blake Lively, who also joined him for the course.
“For those of you who haven’t done it, you will love it. It’s so helpful by giving you knowledge, tools, and some peace of mind,” she wrote on social media.
Reynolds is currently shooting a sequel to his R-rated superhero film Deadpool, and said “it feels good to be back” on set.
