Sarah Ferguson: Duchess of York wows in chic ensemble at glitzy Claridge's Christmas party

Sarah Ferguson, Duchess of York, was all smiles as she posed for pictures at the unveiling of Claridge’s Hotel’s Christmas tree last night. The event, Claridge’s Zodiac Party, was hosted by fashion designer Diane von Furstenberg and editor-in-chief of British Vogue, Edward Enninful. The 59-year-old opted for a black skirt, which was cut to just above her knee. She teamed the ensemble with a purple long-sleeved blouse.

The royal, known as Fergie by some, drew attention to her slender waistline with the help of a thin black belt.

The Duchess finished her look with a pair of sheer black tights, as well as pointed stiletto heels.

She wore her sleek red locks around her shoulders – letting her hair tumble around her shoulders in a loose curl.

Sarah kept her accessories to a minimum, sporting a brown watch, as well as silver drop earrings.

For her make-up, the royal opted for a sweeping of smoky eye-shadow, and completed her evening’s aesthetic with a slick of pale pink lipstick.

In one photo, Sarah could be seen grinning at the paparazzi as she stood at the entrance to the star-studded bash.

The royal was joined by Diane von Furstenberg, 71, for another capture.

Meanwhile, Sarah’s youngest daughter, Princess Eugenie, was also pictured in London this week.

The 28-year-old had been attending a celebration of the Royal Air Force Club’s 100th anniversary.

The royal, who tied the knot with Jack Brooksbank in October this year, took to Instagram to let fans see a glimpse of the occasion.

Princess Eugenie posted a series of snaps from the event, which showed her smiling beside a number of members of the Mayfair private members’ Club.
