Sarah Ferguson goes on night out wearing short skirt as Eugenie & Beatrice on Vogue cover
Sarah Ferguson, Duchess of York, was pictured leaving Mark’s Club, a private members’ club, in Mayfair, London last night.
The ex wife of Prince Andrew, 58, showed off her slim figure in a tight fitting short black dress. She was out and about the same day pictures were released of her daughters, Princess Eugenie, 28, and Princess Beatrice, 29, featuring in the 2018 September issue of British Vogue.
She opted for bare legs under her dress, which was appropriate for the summer heat.
On her feet she had her favourite flat black Pretty Ballerinas loafers.
She also wore a bright orange double-breasted blazer which was left open.
The gorgeous redhead looked glowing as she left the club yesterday evening.
Her trademark flame coloured locks were worn loose and tousled.
She also accessorised with a black handbag, which had a bright orange pom pom to match her jacket.
Around her neck she had on a gold locket style necklace, and she wore gold hoop earrings.
Sarah, who had recently returned from charity work in Nepal, went makeup free.
She looked pretty thanks to her age-defying skin and bright blue eyes.
However, it did appear that she may have caught the sun during her time abroad.
Both her nose, forehead and cheeks look significantly flushed compared to normal.
Why was Sarah Ferguson invited to Prince Harry’s wedding but not Prince William’s?
Surprisingly, Sarah was not among the 1,900 guests at the wedding of Prince William to Kate Middleton, 36, in 2011.
Yet she made the cut for Prince Harry’s wedding to Meghan Markle, 36, earlier this year, which was attended by a far fewer 600 guests.
It is known Prince Harry is close to his aunt Sarah, whom he “gets on with really well”, according to a source.
A source who holidays at Verbier – a favourite Swiss ski resort among the royals – spoke to the publication about Harry and Sarah’s “adoration” for each other in 2016. The source said: “Harry gets on with Fergie really well. He thinks she’s hilarious, and they have a mutual adoration society.
“He loves being part of her redsetter mob [a Royal Family nickname for her] and they ski together, then gas over mulled wine.”
However, there may be another reason Sarah was not invited to Prince William’s wedding.
A year before the 2011 wedding, Sarah was filmed selling “access” to her ex husband Prince Andrew. It is commonly believed this is the reason Sarah was not invited to the wedding.
