Solo: A Star Wars Story NEW POSTERS revealed – Han, Chewie, Qi’ra, Lando and Beckett

The movie is out in just a few weeks’ time and will show the origins of iconic Star Wars character Han Solo, played here by Alden Ehrenreich after being originated by Harrison Ford.

Released on Twitter via the StarWarsUK account, the new character posters show Chewbacca and Han in the middle of combat, each firing their guns at unseen targets.

Lando (Donald Glover) looks a little more cool and collected, with the Millennium Falcon seen in the background.

Beckett (Woody Harrelson) looks moodily off into the distance in his poster, while Qi’ra (Emilia Clarke) stands holding her own weapon in her shot.

Thandie Newton also shared a poster for her character Val on her personal Twitter page – and seemed to be a very big fan of it.

She wrote: “Well now THAT’s going on my office wall (if I had an office)…WERRRRRRK!!!!!!!! @starwars #SoloAStarWarsStory #Val.”

Other stars of Solo include Phoebe Waller-Bridge and Paul Bettany, with direction coming from Ron Howard.

Howard confirmed on Twitter yesterday that the movie’s post-production work is now complete.

“That’s a wrap on post production!” he said. “#Solo @HanSoloStory #SkywalkerRanch Wow. What a movie-making adventure it’s been!

“Thanks to a terrific cast & extraordinary folks behind the camera as well. You’ve worked so hard to fully realize this cool story. Hope fans have a blast!”

Solo: A Star Wars Story is out on May 24 in the UK.
