Star eyes Barcelona move over Real Madrid: He doesn't want to play with Cristiano Ronaldo

The talented winger has made a name for himself in the Bundesliga during his debut season, scoring six goals and notching 11 assists.

Dembele’s rise to prominence has seen Barcelona and Real Madrid linked with a move for him this summer.

The 19-year-old is still under contract with the German giants until 2021.

But it seems he has already ruled out the possibility of making a switch to the Bernabeu.

Spanish publication Don Balon claim Dembele has no interest in playing in the capital because he doesn’t want to play alongside Cristiano Ronaldo.

They say he has refused to open talks with Madrid chiefs for that reason, leaving Barca in pole position to sign him if they make a move.

Barca attempted to sign him prior to his transfer to Dortmund but a deal never materialised as Dembele wanted to test himself in the Bundesliga.

And unlike many other transfer targets Barcelona usually have to battle Madrid for, Demebele will be a different story this summer if they decide to pursue his signature in the transfer window.
