Star Wars 8 Last Jedi trailer: Kylo Ren is full SITH – look at his eyes

The brand new teaser trailer for The Last Jedi dropped at Star Wars Celebration today.

It is packed with footage but most of it leaves us with more questions than answers.

As well as showing Rey training with a lightsaber we also see her in a deadly battle.

We also see Kylo Ren attacking with his flaming red blade and if you look very closely it seems to reveal that he has become a full Sith at last.

If you are eagle-eyed, or use the zoom button, Kylo doesn’t just look very angry. His eyes appear to be glowing yellow and red.

Star Wars fans know that yellow and red eyes are a classic sign of a Sith, as we have seen previously with the likes of Darth Maul and Anakin after he turned to the Dark Side.

But how has this happened when we know that Kylo Ren felt weaker in the Dark Force after he killed his father, Han Solo?

We know that Snoke ordered Hux to rescue Kylo Ren and bring him to his hiding place to complete his training. A popular theory even suggests that Kylo will have to kill Hux as one of his final tests to become fully Sith.

It is also likely that Snoke will send his apprentice to kill Rey and Luke.

Are these shots the first footage of the rumoured battle on Ahch-To between the Jedi and Kylo and his Knights of Ren?

Of course, Kylo’s eyes could also just be red reflecting his glowing weapon. It looks like we will have to wait months more for any proper answers…
