Star Wars 9 is NOT the end 'NEXT film will be revealed in January': It's NOT Rian Johnson
The Hollywood Reporter said: “Sources say Kennedy has a film on deck for 2022, but not the one being developed by The Last Jedi filmmaker Rian Johnson. No announcement is planned until January.”
There are still conflicting reports over whether Johnson’s planned trilogy will ever happen.
Meanwhile, fans are excited at the prospect of Marvel boss Kevin Feige coming into a galaxy far, far away.
However, the report also discounts his planned standalone movie being in any way ready in the next two years.
