Star Wars 9 leaks: MACE WINDU Kylo Ren Rise of Skywalker scene revealed – What the Force?
Wait, isn’t the Jedi master with the distinctive purple lightsaber dead? Didn’t he plunge to his death from a terrible height? Well, the same could be said about Emperor Palpatine. And there are major rumours something similar might happen to Kylo Ren in Episode IX… WARNING POTENTIAL SPOILERS.
And, of course, take any such leaks with a huge pinch of salt.
However, long before this sensational latest one, there have been numerous theories and arguments on this subject for years, with Samuel Jackson even dragging George Lucas into the debate.
Apparently Jackson once asked George Lucas whether Mace Windu could have survived and the Star Wars creator gave his usual short but sweet type of reply: “Sure.”
Then, at Star Wars Celebration two years ago Jackson appeared on a giant screen and said: “We know Jedis can fall form incredible heights and survive. So apparently I am not dead. Yes, I have two appendages right now, but we know the long and rich history of Star Wars characters reappearing with new appendages and being stronger and better than they were before.”

He added: “Mace Windu is awaiting his return. Let’s make it happen… All you gotta do is say the word. See you soon, on-screen I hope.”
It may be sooner than anyone expected after the latest round of leaks and reports.
A new leak describes a chilling scene from The Rise of Skywalker: “One of the sequences is based in the second act of the film.
“Specifically, a sequence where both Kylo Ren and his Knights of Ren travel to one of Palpatine’s abandoned bases in the Outer Rim.
“Darth Vader eventually hunted him down on Coruscant and slaughtered him and retrieved Windu’s lightsaber and delivered it to Palaptine, who kept it locked away over in the Unknown Regions.
“It is said there is code written on the lightsaber that was etched into the metal by another Jedi, who found it before…
“The ancient code suggests Mace Windu was still alive during the events of Order 66.
“This matches directly up with discussions Disney and Lucasfilm have had of a Mace Windu series in development for Disney Plus that would explain this turn of events.”
