Star Wars 9 Rise of Skywalker ENDING teased ‘It will put you away’ says John Williams
This Christmas, Star Wars Episode IX: The Rise of Skywalker is released, concluding not just the sequel trilogy but also the entire Skywalker Saga. Clearly, a lot is riding on the film’s ending which will surely be something special. And now Star Wars composer John Williams, who has seen how The Rise of Skywalker ends, has teased just what fans can expect. Speaking at a recent concert, the 87-year-old said fans will “love it”.
Speaking with MTV News at Disney D23 Expo last month, the 27-year-old star said: “I think this ending will be less controversial.
“It was really, genuinely satisfying. Doing it all, filming it all.”
Emperor Palpatine returns in The Rise of Skywalker and fans have been speculating over just how he is back.
One theory reckons he transferred his soul to Darth Vader’s helmet.
After all, it’s now canon in Star Wars lore for Sith Lords to live on through Dark Side artefacts.
In the official Darth Vader comics, Palpatine gave his apprentice the helmet of the deceased Lord Momin.
Soon after he received the artefact, the soul of Momin began speaking to Vader from the headgear, so the Emperor clearly knew he could live on in this way.
Star Wars Episode IX: The Rise of Skywalker will be released in UK cinemas on December 19, 2019.
