Star Wars Celebration LIVE STREAM for Episode 9 panel: Title and trailer to be revealed?

Multiple stars of the new film will be appearing on stage in Chicago to launch the marketing campaign for the trilogy finale – due for release in December.

The panel will be streamed live on the Star Wars YouTube channel and on StarWars.com.

The Episode 9 panel is scheduled to be an hour long, finishing up at 6pm.

One person who won’t be in attendance is Mark Hamill.

The Luke Skywalker actor tweeted: “Wish I could be with you in Chicago- having fun & hanging out with folks who seem like family.

“I’m deeply disappointed I can’t be a part of @SW_Celebration.

“I know everyone there will have a wonderful time making friends & memories that will last a lunchtime.”

Among the rumoured titles for the film are Will Of The Force, Son of Darkness, A Spark Of Hope and The Last Hope.

The latter two – alluded-to in an alleged leak earlier today – would be particularly poignant, given of course that the first ever Star Wars movie was subtitled A New Hope.

It’s been said by Disney that Episode 9 marks the last Star Wars film for a little while, although two further trilogies remain in development.

Speaking to Bloomberg, Bob Iger said: “We have not announced any specific plans for movies thereafter.

“There are movies in development, but we have not announced them.”

“We will take a pause, some time, and reset because the Skywalker saga comes to an end with this ninth movie.

“There will be other Stars Wars movies, but there will be a bit of a hiatus.”

Star Wars 9 is out on December 19.
