Star Wars home release: When is Rise of Skywalker out on DVD and download?
When is Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker available to watch online?
Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker will be available for digital download in HD and 4K Ultra HD on April 13.
This is a little while before it comes out on various hard copy formats.
The digital download will be available through all the usual means, including Amazon, iTunes and other platforms which offer this service.
However, it will also be available to stream on Disney+, which is the platform hosted by Disney.
The platform launches in the UK at the end of March, and with the film coming onto digital download on April 13, it is likely this will be a similar date to the arrival of the film on Disney+.
Disney has not announced when the film will arrive on Disney+, so keep an eye on Express.co.uk for further information.

Is Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker coming out on DVD and Blu-ray?
Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker is available on hard copy two weeks after it comes out on digital download, and will be available in 4K Ultra HD, Blu-ray, 3D Blu-ray and DVD.
The release date for these formats is April 20.
Of course, this is a movie which benefits from the biggest TV and sound system possible, so fans should consider investing in something pretty epic to watch it on.
As well as this, 3D copies require specific technology, so it is worth looking into the requirements before purchasing.
There is a great deal of bonus material on the hard copies, including a feature-length, making-of documentary, which goes behind the scenes with the cast and filmmakers.
Bonus features also dig into the film’s Pasaana desert scenes, including the landspeeder chase, the ship in which Rey discovers family secrets and the new droid, D-O.
Warwick Davis also speaks about his role as Wicket the Ewok, while the special effects teams and puppeteers talk about how they created some of the incredible creatures.
To coincide with this release, seven of the other Skywalker saga movies will be released on 4K Ultra HD for the first time, which is all but The Last Jedi.
The Last Jedi is already available in this format, but filmmakers are also releasing Rogue One: A Star Wars Story on 4K Ultra HD as well, so fans can have the full collection in the same format.
How well did Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker do at the box office?
According to those behind the film, the film earned more than $1billion worldwide.
The exact figure is $1,069,318,530, which is £828,630,968.67, with this amount being pretty much split between American audiences and the rest of the world.
