Star Wars Solo SHOCK: Beckett KILLED this Phantom Menace character
WARNING: SPOILERS FOR SOLO AHEAD
The new Star Wars spin-off may not have had huge box office success, but it certainly included enough nods to the prequel trilogy to please fans.
In fact one Phantom Menace character’s fate was spoken of and confirmed in a scene between Beckett and Lando Calrissian.
Upon meeting, Glover’s Lando says he’s heard of Beckett for killing Aurra Sing.
The bounty hunter had a blink-and-you’ll-miss-it shot in Episode I: The Phantom Menace, seen watching the Boonta Eve Classic that Anakin Skywalker won.
She then became a recurring character in The Clone Wars TV show, set in-between Episode II: Attack of the Clones and Episode III: Revenge of the Sith.
Sing was a ruthless killer who worked alongside other bounty hunters like Boba Fett and Bossk.
Her fate was unknown until Beckett revealed in Solo that he pushed her to her death, being pretty sure the fall killed her.
Lando expressed he was pleased with this news since he owed Sing a lot of money and so offered Beckett a special deal.
Nevertheless he survived and had robotic legs attached to his lower half, becoming a regular character in The Clone Wars and Rebels TV shows.
He then returned in a shock cameo at the end of Solo, revealing himself to be the true head of Crimson Dawn.
Solo: A Star Wars Story is out now.
