Arnautovic has signed a five-year deal with the Hammers.
“It feels special to me to be a West Ham player,” said Arnautovic, who has 62 caps for Austria.
“Everyone knows that West Ham is a big Club, with big history and I’m happy to be a part of it now. I can’t wait to get started.
17.45: Jurgen Klopp has insisted Philippe Coutinho is happy at Liverpool amid speculation of a move to Barcelona.
“What can I say? Everybody knows about this, Phil is a key player for us no doubt,” Klopp told reporters after the 2-1 win over Leicester
“I know that he feels completely more than fine, comfortable – whatever in Liverpool.
“He loves the club, he loves the city – all of that is clear.
“But the way he is able to play tonight in a very difficult part of pre-season is good to see. That just shows his big potential.”
17:25: Antonio Conte looks set to include Michy Batshuayi as part of his plans next season.
With Alvaro Morata signing a five-year deal with the Blues this week, questions have been raised over Batshuayi’s future at Stamford Bridge.
Conte said: “Me and my staff want to improve every player and Batshuayi is a young player with great potential and it is important for him and for us to work in this way, and for him to understand what I want.
“For me the striker is very important, he is a point of reference.
“If he stays in the right position, it is easier for us, for the team and to play good football.”
16:35: AC Milan are showing interest in Real Madrid striker Karim Benzema, according to Italian publication TuttoSport.
The Serie A giants have not been afraid to splash the cash this summer and the report claims they could make a move for the Frenchman.
But Zidane is unlikely to want to part with another striker, having just sold Alvaro Morata to Chelsea.
15:40: Ruud Van Nistelrooy reckons Manchester United have made the right decision to sign Romelu Lukaku.
He said: “Physically, he’s unbelievably strong and, with the pace he has, he often puts away the chances he gets.
“I think he’s one of the true No 9s, like Harry Kane at Tottenham – they’re strong centre-forwards who are also a reference point during the build-up play.
“Romelu is strong on the ball but also when making runs and finishing chances.
“I expect he’ll start hitting his peak now. From the club’s point of view, it’s the perfect time to sign him.
“Over the next six, seven or eight years, United will hopefully have a great centre-forward in Romelu Lukaku.”
14.10: Tony Pulis has confirmed West Brom will not be signing Arsenal defender Kieran Gibbs after the club saw a £10m bid rejected.
“We won’t be signing Kieran Gibbs,” Pulis said.
“We have to look for players that fit what we want to do and the way we want to play. We have three or four other targets we are desperate for.
“We are juggling with two at the moment and that’s not Gibbs. Hopefully by the time we get back home we will have done those two.”

Ronaldo was linked with a move away from the Bernabeu earlier this summer amid allegations of a £13million tax bill.

10:25: Bookies have SUSPENDED betting on Neymar joining Paris Saint-Germain this summer.
Ladbrokes have closed the book on the Barcelona star heading to PSG after reports claimed the French side were ready to smash their world-record transfer fee by activating his £196m release clause.
The bookmakers are also no longer taking bets on Chelsea’s Nemanja Matic joining Manchester United and Arsenal’s Kieran Gibbs going to Watford.
A Ladbrokes spokesperson said: “This could be a very expensive summer for clubs across Europe as far as we’re concerned, with even more records set to be smashed in the coming weeks.”
09:55: Virgil van Dijk has effectively gone on strike to try and push through a move to Liverpool.
Van Dijk has been ordered to train alone by Southampton after telling them he wants to leave in a bid to join Liverpool this summer.
The 26-year-old has been banned from Saints’ pre-season tour of France next week by new manager Mauricio Pellegrino.
And Pellegrino said yesterday: “The boy said he is not available to play because he wants to leave. I had to say, ‘if you don’t want to be involved because you do not feel OK then you have to train alone’.
“I need players 100 per cent committed to Southampton.”
08:50: Antonio Conte claims Diego Costa was told in January he had no future at Chelsea.
“I don’t like to talk about players who are not here,” said Conte of Costa, who is still a Chelsea player but has not travelled with the squad on their preseason tour of China.
“But there is one thing I can tell you. In January, the Costa situation was very clear, for the club, for him and his agent. For me the situation is closed.”
Alvaro Morata has arrived in a £70m deal from Real Madrid to replace Costa but Conte also wants Swansea striker Fernando Llorente as back-up to Morata.
07:45: Manchester City are closing in on a double deal for Benjamin Mendy and Danilo that will take Pep Guardiola’s summer spending to £220MILLION.
Etihad bosses remain confident of landing Monaco left-back Mendy in a £54m deal – despite being accused of tapping-up his team-mate Kylian Mbappe.
City will also land Danilo from Real Madrid this weekend in a £30m deal after the full-back snubbed the chance of a move to Chelsea.

The Arsenal and Barcelona stars have been heavily linked with a move away from their respective clubs. And The Guardian claim PSG are hoping to close in on one of the biggest double-signings in football history in the next few days. The Ligue 1 giants are preparing an opening offer of £40.3m for Sanchez after meeting him at a hotel in Paris along with his agent on Friday. As for Neymar, they are formulating a plan to raise the funds to activate his £199m release clause. 05:00: Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp will hold a meeting with Philippe Coutinho to tell him he cannot leave for Barcelona. The Catalan giants submitted a £72million bid to sign the Brazil international, but the Reds rejected their proposal. The report adds what Coutinho says in the meeting could be crucial. 03:35: Hertha Berlin have decided against extending Allan Rodrigues de Souza’s loan deal. The Brazilian will now return to Liverpool before being loaned straight out again due to work permit issues still being unresolved. German outlet Bild say this is because Hertha coach Pal Dardai favours Arne Maier in midfield. “Arne is a young talent that we want to promote,” Dardai said. “If he continues to work hard, I’m going to throw him in the league.” 03:00: Manchester United star Marcus Rashford is on Real Madrid’s transfer wishlist. That’s according to Diario Gol who claim the 19-year-old is fancied by Bernabeu chiefs. Real have money to spend after selling Alvaro Morata to Chelsea. And Rashford, as well as the likes of Kasper Dolberg and Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, could replace him. 02:30: Chelsea are interested in signing Inter Milan winger Antonio Candreva. Antonio Comte tried to sign the Italy international in the January transfer window, but he opted to stay at Inter. However, The Sun say he is willing to join his former national team boss at Stamford Bridge. It is said Conte has now turned his attentions to Candreva after missing out on Real Madrid’s Danilo, who is closing in on a move to Manchester City. The report adds the Italian boss is willing to double his current £85,000-a-week wages. The Chile international has just 12 months remaining on his current Arsenal contract and doubt had been cast over his future. It is said they are also willing to meet his £400,000-a-week wage demands. 00:20: Chelsea are interested in signing Nice defender Malang Sarr. The 18-year-old is one of France’s brightest young talents and helped Nice finish third in Ligue in his debut season. The report adds Sarr has a release clause of £36million inserted into his current contract. Friday July 21 22.45: Paul Pogba is keen for Manchester United to snap up Serge Aurier from Paris Saint-Germain, according to reports. Website Goal claims Pogba is attempting to convince United bosses to snap up the Ivory Coast international. Aurier wants to leave PSG and Unai Emery said this week: “I spoke with Serge to tell him that I wanted him to stay. “He told me that he wants to leave and he preferred staying in Paris (instead of going on tour to the USA) to prepare for his departure.”
Stoke have signed Kurt Zouma on loan from Chelsea 20.15: The Sun have backed up claims Alexis Sanchez is in Paris this afternoon, finalising a move to PSG. A source in the French capital has claimed the 28-year-old arrived by limousine at this afternoon at the Royal Monceau hotel. “His business here is confidential, but we are very used to having superstar footballers staying,” a source said. Jese Rodriguez reportedly stayed at the hotel for a number of months following his summer transfer from Real Madrid last year. 19.40: Barcelona are set to make a bid for Liverpool’s Philippe Coutinho as Neymar edges towards PSG. “Barcelona expect PSG to pay Neymar’s buy-out clause this week,” Spanish football expert Guillem Balague tweeted. “Coutinho was not a target as he’s similar, but now a new offer to Liverpool is on its way.” 19.00: Chelsea have confirmed they have signed Alvaro Morata from Real Madrid on a five-year deal. “Chelsea Football Club is delighted to announce Alvaro Morata has completed his move from Real Madrid on a five-year-deal,” a club statement said. “I am so happy to be here. It’s an incredible emotion to be part of this big club,” Morata added. “I am looking to work hard, score as many goals as I can and to win as many trophies as possible.” 18.20: Alexis Sanchez is reportedly in Paris to finalise his move to Ligue 1 giants Paris Saint-Germain. “Alexis Sanchez is currently at the Royal Monceau, a Parisian hotel in the 8th arrondissement,” French outlet Paris United tweeted. Alexis finalises his contract with Henrique,” they tweeted. 17.30: Chesea are back in for Swansea striker Fernando Llorente but have reportedly balked at the asking price. The Independent claim Antonio Conte is keen to bring in the 32-year-old with Diego Costa set to leave. And Swansea are playing hardball yet again and have valued the Spain international at £30m. 16.40: Chelsea have okayed Nemanja Matic’s move to Manchester United this summer – but they want £50m. The Sun claim Roman Abramovich intervened and gave the green light for Matic to depart. The Russian is said to have given his blessing to the move as a reward for helping the club win the title twice in the last three seasons. The Blues are reportedly asking for £50m who made 40 appearances in all competitions last term, scoring two goals and providing nine assists. 15.45: Joe Gomez has claimed he has no intention of going out on loan this season and wants to prove himself at Liverpool. “My main aim is to play here for Liverpool and under this manager,” Gomez told the Liverpool Echo. “My target is to get regular football and I want to play at the top level and that’s what I am focused on at the moment. “I feel 100 per cent. I know that this pre-season is a big opportunity for me to hit the ground running again. “I feel like I just have to keep pushing and try to take every opportunity that I can to progress and keep learning.” 14:47: STOKE SIGN KURT ZOUMA Kurt Zouma has signed a new six-year contract at Chelsea and agreed to join Stoke on loan for the upcoming season. Zouma, who had also attracted interest from West Brom, was free to find a new club this summer after Blues boss Antonio Conte signed Antonio Rudiger from Roma. Stoke manager Mark Hughes said: “Kurt is undoubtedly one of the most talented young defenders in the game, so naturally his arrival will enhance our playing squad for the forthcoming campaign. “We have prioritised adding further strength in depth to defensive positions this summer, and we have certainly done that by fending off any number of clubs who were all interested in taking Kurt on loan. “He first caught my attention as a 17-year-old during his time at St. Etienne, and in fact, I actually tried to sign him at that point in his career, but whilst that deal never materialised I am delighted to finally get the opportunity to work with him now. “On his day he is one of the most impressive defenders in the league, and whilst injury unfortunately hampered his progress at Chelsea last season, we are certain that we can give him the platform to recapture the form he showed prior to his setback.”
Javier Manquillo has joined Newcastle 13.40: Alvaro Morata has passed his medical at Chelsea. The Spain striker flew to London last night after Chelsea agreed a fee with Real Madrid. Antonio Conte said he would be a good signing this afternoon. And Morata is now a step closer to becoming an official Chelsea player. He is expected to fly to Singapore this weekend to meet up with the squad on their pre-season tour. 13:30: NEWCASTLE DONE DEAL Newcastle United have signed Atletico Madrid defender Javier Manquillo for an undisclosed fee. “I’m very happy to be here,” he said. “From the first moment that Rafa Benitez called me, I just knew that I had to come here, to such a big club. “I’m very happy with the challenge ahead. “I’ve come here to work hard and give everything on and off the pitch. Hopefully then everything will go in the right direction.” 13.03: Eric Dier remains keen on joining Manchester United despite Tottenham’s refusal to sell. Dier is said to be a boyhood United fan and wants the chance to link up with Jose Mourinho. But Tottenham are not willing to sell despite United being ready to pay as much as £60m. And the MEN claim Dier is still keen on a move if a breakthrough can be found.
Alvaro Morata is set to join Chelsea 12:41: Arsene Wenger insists Alexis Sanchez’s absence from Arsenal’s pre-season tour has nothing to do with his future. Sanchez’s contract expires next summer and Manchester City and PSG want to sign him. Asked why Sanchez is not in Beijing for Arsenal’s friendly with Chelsea, Wenger denied it was because of uncertainty over his future. “Alexis Sanchez played in the Confederations Cup and is on holiday,” he said. 12.30: Ivan Perisic starts Inter Milan’s friendly Schalke today. Perisic flew out to China on Inter’s pre-season tour despite hoping to sign for Manchester United and he starts today’s friendly. United have yet to reach Inter’s valuation but are hoping to strike a deal after Jose Mourinho told Ed Woodward to seal more deals this summer. 12:14: Gary Cahill is delighted Alvaro Morata has agreed to join Chelsea – although the deal is yet to be confirmed by the London club. “We’ve added a fantastic striker, he’s very experienced even though he’s at a young age,” Cahill said. “He’s played in the Champions League and won a lot already in a short space of time, we’re very excited we’ve signed such a huge player. “We’re looking forward to welcoming him into the squad and hopefully he can score a lot of goals this season and be very important for us.” 11:48: Antonio Conte insists Alvaro Morata was always his first-choice forward target. “It is very important the choice,” Conte said in his press conference in Beijing. “Morata for sure is our first choice. “He is a good player, the right prospect for Chelsea and hopes to show his value with us.” 11:05: Zinedine Zidane has wished Alvaro Morata good luck at Chelsea and revealed it was the player who instigated the move away from Real Madrid. “We wish him all the luck in the world – except against Madrid,” Real Madrid boss Zidane told ESPN Mexico. “In the end, we know that this is his home, he has been here his whole life. “He has to make decisions and so he has decided to go to another club.” Morata should be confirmed as a Chelsea player today. 10.50: Paulo Dybala has emerged as Barcelona’s top transfer target as Neymar’s future remains uncertain. Neymar has been linked with a stunning move to Paris Saint-Germain. It has been reported this morning that talks are at an advanced stage and now Barcelona fear he will leave the club. Neymar’s release clause is set at £196million and PSG appear ready to sanction a move that would more than double the current transfer record. And reports in Spain claim Dybala is now Barca’s top transfer target. Mundo Deportivo claim Barca identified Dybala and Marco Verratti as their top targets for this summer. But with the links to Neymar Barca don’t want to help finance PSG’s move for their own player by buying Verratti and they are now focussed on Dybala.
Paulo Dybala is now Barcelona’s top transfer target 10:19: Arsenal believe Mesut Ozil will sign a new contract after breakthrough in talks over the deal. Ozil is yet to pen fresh terms with the Gunners and could leave on a free transfer when his current contract expires next summer. But the Sun claim a new £280,000-a-week deal is being discussed. Ozil wanted £350,000 a week to remain at the Gunners but the German has now lowered his demands. 10.10: Man City are set to complete the signing of Danilo from Real Madrid today. Chelsea had hoped to seal a deal for the full-back but have been beaten by Manchester City who should unveil the 26-year-old today. City have agreed a £26.8m fee in a move that will infuriate Antonio Conte as he loses out on another target. Conte has ramped up his spending and Chelsea should announce the signing of Alvaro Morata today but lost out on Romelu Lukaku to Juventus and Leonardo Bonucci to AC Milan. And City are now set to sign the Brazil international on a five-year deal according to Spanish outlet Marca 09:35: Leicester have rejected a bid from Roma for winger Riyad Mahrez. Tottenham target Mahrez wants to leave the Foxes but Leicester are seeking £50m to let him go. “I think I was quoted on the last press day that there was no bids,” Craig Shakespeare said today. “There was a bid from Roma I was told afterwards, so I would like to put the record straight on that one. “It was politely declined on the basis that it was a low offer. Of what that offer is, don’t ask me how much because I don’t know and I don’t get involved in that.” 09:32: Javier Mascherano says Neymar has not been affected by PSG’s transfer interest this summer. PSG have made their pursuit of the Barcelona striker public. Mascherano told ESPN: “Neymar is accustomed to the pressure and people talking. There’s always going to be rumours and news around him. “He is young and I hope he’s here with Barcelona for many more years. He is a really important player for the club. “Because of his age, he’s the future of the club and we hope that we can keep on counting on him. “I’m no one to give advice, but I see him really happy here, really happy. “[Barca] are a club that have made it possible for him to perform at his best. “But after that, each person has to make their own decisions.”
Leicester have rejected Roma’s bid for Riyad Mahrez (left) 08:49: AC Milan CEO Marco Fassone has revealed Sead Kolasinac almost joined them before agreeing a free transfer to Arsenal. Discussing Milan’s transfer activities this summer, Fassone told Gazzetta dello Sport: “It was a blitz for Andre Silva. We arrived in Porto the night before and by dinner we had already closed the deal. “There were a couple of players who didn’t arrive because the closing was delayed. One of those was Sead Kolasinac. “It has been frustrating at times but [sporting director Massimiliano] Mirabelli and I have never stopped. “He’s watched millions of matches.” 08:21: Manchester City will let Aleksandar Kolarov leave for Roma – the latest veteran player to quit the club. City have already offloaded Willy Caballero, Gael Clichy and Pablo Zabaleta this month. And the defensive exodus is set to continue, with Pep Guardiola confirming 31-year-old Kolarov won’t stay at the Etihad club. “I don’t like working with people who don’t want to stay. He has a big chance to go to Roma,” the manager said. “He has said he wants to leave. I wish him all the best.”
Roma are set to sign Aleksandar Kolarov 08:17: More on Manchester United manager Jose Mourinho and his pursuit for new players. The boss explained after this morning’s 2-0 win over Manchester City the value of bringing in fresh recruits. “When I look to the team and Lukaku, Lindelof, I would like my squad to be here, my whole squad, if you manage to get one more player – I’m not even crying for two – if we get one player as soon as possible,” he said. “Because we can see Lindelof is in a team, Lukaku is in a team, the understanding between the players, the Paul [Pogba] pass, the way Lukaku holds the ball. “But the preparation is fantastic.” 07:52: Jurgen Klopp says Philippe Coutinho is NOT FOR SALE after Liverpool rejected Barcelona’s £72m bid for the Brazilian. Barca are desperate to sign Coutinho but Liverpool have him locked into a five-year contract. The Anfield club are under no pressure to sell and Klopp says Coutinho is going nowhere. “Yes (he is not for sale), but that’s not since this morning or yesterday, it’s not been any different,” Klopp said. “Phil is a very important player for us. He’s trying to get back his rhythm but there’s no doubt about his quality. He’s very smart both offensively and defensively. “The nice news for us is that he’s still young. He has improved a lot since I’ve been here and he can still improve a lot. “I’m not surprised that any club is interested in players at Liverpool. The very important message is that we are not a selling club and that’s how it is. “We believe in working together and developing together. We want to make the next step together and for this we need to stay together. “We have to create a situation where everybody is easily able to see which direction we want to go. It’s really positive. This is a fantastic club and it’s a good moment for Liverpool.”
Liverpool have rejected Barcelona’s bid for Philippe Coutinho 07:45: Manchester United may struggle to sign any more players this summer, admits Jose Mourinho. United have spent over £100m already this summer on Victor Lindelof and Romelu Lukaku. They are in for Ivan Perisic, while Mourinho could also dip into the market for a right-back. The Portuguese boss has previously explained that he wants four new recruits. But following on from United’s 2-0 friendly win over Manchester City this morning, Mourinho conceded those deals may not happen. “I don’t know, I don’t know,” he said. “I’m not in control of that, the credit of Lukaku, Lindelof to be here on time, the credit is not mine, it’s Ed Woodward and I thank him for that fantastic work to bring us two very important players for us. “But we need a bit more and when you see the other teams in the Premier League, the way they get players and good players and you see the champion to buy three fantastic experienced players, City go to the market, Liverpool, and West Ham get Joe Hart, Chicharito [Javier Hernandez] and [Marko] Arnautovic. “West Ham wow, they play to win the Premier League too so the teams are fantastic in the market and I’m waiting for a bit more.” 07:30: Chelsea will confirm the signing of Real Madrid striker Alvaro Morata today. Morata landed in London yesterday morning after leaving Real’s Los Angeles training camp. The Spaniard has undergone a medical at Chelsea and is expected to be announced as their record signing today. He will cost the Blues, who turned to Morata after missing out on Romelu Lukaku, £78m. Chelsea have already signed three players this summer and are expected to continue the spree before the start of the season. 07:00: Manchester City and PSG may face an investigation from UEFA over their pursuit of target Kylian Mbappe. Express Sport understands Arsenal have had an £87m bid for Mbappe turned down – but they are not the subject of a complaint from Monaco. City are yet to lodge a formal offer but are keen on the 18-year-old. Monaco have threatened to make a formal complaint to FIFA about how three unspecified clubs have conducted themselves. “AS Monaco regretfully notice that European football clubs made contacts with Kylian Mbappe (and his entourage) without its authorisation,” a statement read. “AS Monaco want to remind these clubs that such actions are contrary to the article 211 of the Administrative regulation of the French Football League (Ligue de Football Professionnel) and to the article 18.3 of the Regulation of the Status and the Transfer of the Players of FIFA. “To put an end to this unacceptable situation, AS Monaco consider asking the French Football League (Ligue de Football Professionnel) and FIFA to commit disciplinary procedures against clubs offenders.” 06:30: Transfer guru Tancredi Palmeri has told Express Sport that a Liverpool deal for Naby Keita is not straightforward. Liverpool want to sign Keita but RB Leipzig have already buffered two offers. A third is expected but Palmeri has doubts over whether RB Leipzig owner Dietrich Mateschitz will sell. “Mateschitz, the Leipzig owner, is having the time of his life. This guy can buy our lives in seconds. Money isn’t an issue,” he said. “Unless Keita misbehaves, unless he sets fire to the Leipzig headquarters, he’s not going to leave. There’s a progression at RB Leipzig that hasn’t hit a ceiling.” 06:00: Arsenal and Tottenham are interested in youngster Jadon Sancho, who is yet to sign a new contract at Manchester City. The Sun claim both London clubs are eyeing the England U17s star, who has been excluded from City’s pre-season tour. The winger is tipped for big things at City and Arsenal and Spurs, along with Bundesliga side RB Leipzig, have been tracking him for months.
