Venom end credits scenes CONFIRMED: How many are there? Is Spider-Man in it?

While reviews aren’t due until the early hours of tomorrow morning, some US critics have been able to post their thoughts on Twitter – and it’s mostly bad news for the Tom Hardy-fronted superhero movie.

Still, there plenty of positive aspects to focus on – not least the post-credits sequences, which one critic used an encouraging fire emoji to describe.

ScreenRant has now ‘confirmed’ that there are not one but two scenes after the credits – and both of them literally are after the credits, not during them.

Details of the sequences had appeared to leak over the weekend.

Alleged info on what to expect appeared online courtesy of MCU Cosmic’s Jeremy Conrad, who said that Woody Harrelson pops up as Kasady.

“Eddie Brock goes to prison to interview him and Woody’s there and he has a really dumb-looking wig on,” he claimed in a video.

“He kinda looks like Pennywise without the clown makeup.

“So Brock goes in to interview Cletus, and he says ‘Do you want to know what…me being a serial killer is like? Do you want to know…the Carnage?’”

The second moment is said to take place “meanwhile in another Spider-verse”.

All it seems to be is an animated clip from Spider-Man Into The Spider-Verse – thus confirming that Tom Holland’s Spider-Man will not be popping up at all.

Spider-Man himself is of course owned by the MCU and is legally off-limits for this iteration of movies.

“It was definitely challenging figuring out how to make a movie with a character that’s defined by Spider-Man without Spider-Man,” director Ruben Fleischer admitted to ScreenRant.

“It’s those creative challenges that allow you to really come up with something original and different.”

Hardy said in an interview over the weekend that his favourite 40 minutes’ worth of footage has been cut.

Venom is out tomorrow.
